This may be an anti-coke propaganda, but technical people like doctors/chemists would be able to confirm or otherwise if the comments below were correct.
However, even if 20% of it was correct, we might as well change our coking, pepsing, spriting, or sevenuping habits.

1.    In The First 10 minutes: 10 teaspoons of sugar hit your system. (100% of your recommended daily intake.) You dont immediately vomit from the overwhelming sweetness because phosphoric acid cuts the flavor allowing you to keep it down.

2.    20 minutes : Your blood sugar spikes, causing an insulin burst. Your liver responds to this by turning any sugar it can get its hands on into fat. (Theres plenty of that at this particular moment).

3.    40 minutes : Caffeine absorption is complete. Your pupils dialate, your blood pressure rises, as a response your livers dumps more sugar into your bloodstream. The adenosine receptors in your brain are now blocked preventing drowsiness.

7 - MINUTE EXERCISE...............






Don't have an hour or even twenty minutes to exercise each day? You might not need it. This routine of 12 exercises is a complete workout based on the latest fitness research—and it only takes 7 minutes.

As with other short, but highly efficient exercises, this routine is based on interval training, where you're combining intense activity with brief recovery periods. We've seen interval training touted before as the most efficient type of exercise. You could do it with cycling, but this workout is an alternative guide and you can do it basically anywhere with almost no equipment.

The routine was posted in the May-June issue of the American College of Sports Medicine's Health & Fitness Journal and highlighted by The New York Times. In this program:


The exercises should be performed in rapid succession, allowing 30 seconds for each [with a 10-second rest between exercises], while, throughout, the intensity hovers at about an 8 on a discomfort scale of 1 to 10, [director of exercise physiology at the Human Performance Institute] Mr. Jordan says. Those seven minutes should be, in a word, unpleasant. The upside is, after seven minutes, you’re done.

As you can see from the chart at the top of this post, all you need is your own body weight and a chair to get "maximum results with minimal investment." However, this was designed for people with pretty sedentary lives, so if you're starting out somewhat in shape, you should probably do this a few times in a row.

Well, here's some good advice on hydration.

Why hydration matters: Good hydration helps prevent constipation,asthma,elevated blood glucose and protects against heart damage.Mild hydration(a one and a half percent loss of normal water volume) reduces energy,affects mood and hampers memory.


How much you should drink: About 22 percent of water you consume comes from food.The rest about 50 to 60 ounces a day should come from liquids such as coffee,pure water and juices with pulp.

What you should drink: Unless you are exercising in hot weather,avoid sports drink and liquids with added sugar(especially high fructose corn syrup) and drink only as much coffee as your nerves and stomach can handle(less than five cups won't hydrate).The rest? Good old pulp-filled fruit and vegetable juice,and lots of water.

The kitchen is the perfect place to rustle up delicious foods.But few are aware that kitchen is also the palce that sees a proliferation of germs and bacteria.This may sound odd since the kitchen is considered to be one of the cleanest spots in the house.


Commonly touched surfaces in the kitchen such as dustbin lid,soap dispenser,mobile and radio buttons were also contaminated, posing a risk of cross-contamination.

Excessive texting may keep you in touch with family and friends, but it also spells trouble for your health.......

Text Neck is a pandemic syndrome in people who are involved in excessive texting.Beingstuck in the uncomfortable position of looking down for a long duration with a strained spine can lead to tension in the neck and shoulders,inflammation in the neck muscle and joints,and even chronic headache.This is a problem seen in the younger generation who want to be connected all the time.Without timely invention, text neck can lead to permanent arthritic damage as well as increased curvature in the spine and even slipped disc.

PAIN-RELIEVING TIPS:

1. POSTURE CORRECTION: While texting for long periods,try to keep the neck in a neutral position where the ears are aligned with shoulders. Atleast be conscious of the neck's position and avoid maintaining the awkward position for a long time.



2.NECK EXTENSION: Perform neck extension exercises(raising the chin until a stretch is felt on the neck),neck side flexion(bringing the side of the head alternatively towards the left and the right until a stretch is felt) and neck rotation.

3.TAKE A BREAK: Frequent breaks between messaging helps give the body much needed relaxation.

4.HEAT THERAPY:Treat your aching neck to hot water fomentation to increase blood circulation and help the muscles relax.Add one teaspoon Epsom salt to hot water,soak a towel and squeeze out excess water.Place the towel on affected areas.Repeat it five times.


5.REST:Stop doing what makes your neck hurt.Put a halt to your daily routine of texting.It wont do any harm.This important pause will allow the neck to start healing.

Skin and other allergic reactions pose the biggest risk to hair dye users. It's difficult to say how many hair dye users suffer from allergic reactions, as most do not seek medical attention. However, there are many cases where allergic reactions to hair dyes have been severe or even fatal.

Signs of a mild reaction may only be irritation of the upper eyelids or rims of the ears, but in more severe reactions, the whole head or body may be involved.



A severe form of allergic reaction is anaphylactic shock. When this occurs, the mouth and tongue swell and the airways constrict. Anaphylaxis can be rapidly fatal, and there have been isolated cases of hair dyes causing anaphylactic shock.

Skin reactions can occur on a person's first exposure to hair dye, or can suddenly occur in a person who has been using them long-term. A patch test before every dyeing is important to help detect skin allergies, but very time dye is applied to the skin, the immune system may become sensitized, increasing the risk of future allergic reaction.

For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer.

We all think eating fruits means just buying fruits, cutting it and just popping it into our mouths. It's not as easy as you think. It's important to know how and when to eat.

What is the correct way of eating fruits?

IT MEANS NOT EATING FRUITS AFTER YOUR MEALS! * FRUITS SHOULD BE EATEN ON AN EMPTY STOMACH.

If you eat fruit like that, it will play a major role to detoxify your system, supplying you with a great deal of energy for weight loss and other life activities.

FRUIT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FOOD. Let's say you eat two slices of bread and then a slice of fruit. The slice of fruit is ready to go straight through the stomach into the intestines, but it is prevented from doing so.

In the meantime the whole meal rots and ferments and turns to acid. The minute the fruit comes into contact with the food in the stomach and digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to spoil....

So please eat your fruits on an empty stomach or before your meals! You have heard people complaining — every time I eat watermelon I burp, when I eat durian my stomach bloats up, when I eat a banana I feel like running to the toilet, etc — actually all this will not arise if you eat the fruit on an empty stomach. When you need to drink fruit juice - drink only fresh fruit juice, NOT from the cans. Don't even drink juice that has been heated up. Don't eat cooked fruits because you don't get the nutrients at all. You only get to taste. Cooking destroys all the vitamins.
